The inauguration. The swearing in of a new or current president. In this case, Barack Obama. Now, this maybe a sensitive subject but i just wanted to say a few words about it. Not about the person, or what he does but the celebration. We (America) do a huge, all out, party where he basically goes back to the house hes been living in for so long. Personally, i think its a little over done. I understand the first one but the second inauguration, when he goes through his country on high horse, people perform, as humans line the streets worshiping him. A fellow news reporter made a statement saying "this is what we do best, America loves inaugurations" no. We do best at making people our idols and celebrating their going home. Why couldn't America do this for our savior? He has done way more than any president ill tell you that much. We need Jesus to be our idol, not something made of plastic, or skin cells, or anything on this planet. Our God is a jealous God. Jealous for our hearts, and when we poor out our hearts into something else he hurts for that. He wants to be your idol, so let him. Give HIM your all.
